Cup 1

Last Sunday saw the use of 10s and the South-west corner of the pond for the first time in a long while; and four races were completed despite low wind and glassy conditions. Weed proved an issue if you sailed in the wrong place close to the edge, but mostly left us alone (except for me - I might have had a chance of beating Colin if I hadn’t got stuck on that last race. He still didn’t give me a discard though.)
Round 2

Some competitive racing today across the board; thankfully the wind picked up from nothing to a gentle very changeable breeze, but still strong. Recognition is due to Andy who might have gotten me had he not had 'electrical issues' in the last two races. He also collided with Dave a couple times...
Dave did get bored and ended up playing in the rescue boat. Picture attached of him caught red handed spraying everyone on the side of the pond with the engine only half way down.
His new P8 proved quite competitive - though he did take it home for some tuning. Watch out for the orange and blue color monstrosity; may cause us some trouble in the future. Thankfully it has a deep fin and therefore a habit of getting stuck.
